Melo has over 20 years in design and visual display experience in the seasonal category. Throughout his career he has developed a reputation for his creative and visual talents. His attention to detail and creative ability is often what helps create the difference for Katherine’s Collection.
Keith has 20+ years of advertising agency and package design experience. His broad range of traditional and digital illustration styles provide variety when meeting the needs of our customers. “I find it rewarding to design custom illustrations and patterns which work best for the product”
Kellie has been a freelance designer for Simplicity Pattern Company designing top selling halloween costumes and spent several years in the costume shop at Carousel Dinner Theatre. “I love bringing life back to vintage items” says Kellie. She joined the Katherine’s team in 1999, and has flourished in Product.
After receiving her Masters Degree in painting, Mena taught figure drawing for several years before she joined the Katherine’s team 12 years ago. Her role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities including research and development of costume design as well as fabric and color coordination.
Donna has worked as a production pattern maker for 40 years. “My love of fashion history and costume design expanded my talents to working with artists and animatronic designers.” Donna’s costumes are found in museums worldwide with clients including Michael Jackson and the president of Nike and Pepsi. Donna refined her skills in toy making working at American Greetings and Step 2 and has called the Katherine’s Collection family her home for 20 years.
Tom comes from a background at Walt Disney World where he worked as senior artist and character sculptor. After 20 years sculpting Disney characters, he freelanced for Bradford Exchange, Franklin Mint and American Greetings among others, sculpting a wide range of products. “Playing with clay has been my passion since childhood”, says Tom. “Today, my inner child inspires my character creations.” Tom has been associated with Katherine’s Collection since 2003 as a designer and sculptor.
Raymond graduated from the University of Santo Tomas and holds a degree in Communication Arts and Advertising from the College of Fine Arts and Architecture. He’s been designing professionally for more than a decade and discovered his talent for drawing early in life. At age 5, Raymond was selling his robot drawings of the then popular cartoon Voltes Five to his playmates and hasn’t stopped since.
